Abstract Submission Guidelines

Please follow the guidelines below when preparing your abstract:

  • Title: Maximum 50 words.
  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words.
  • There is no prescribed abstract structure (e.g., objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions), as conventions vary across disciplines. However, abstracts will be reviewed by experts in the relevant field(s), and authors are encouraged to follow the scholarly conventions and typical abstract structure of their discipline.
  • The abstract should be coherent, well-structured, and written in clear academic English.
  • The work should align with the conference theme, "Uncertain Futures in Southeast Asia and Beyond: Sustainability for Environment and Society," or address one or more of the conference themes. Relevant submissions beyond the listed themes are also welcome.
  • Research involving Southeast Asia and/or other world regions is welcome, provided it is relevant to the conference theme.
  • All abstracts will undergo a peer-review process, and acceptance will be based on scholarly quality, originality, relevance, and clarity.
